BuildWell Post-Construction Cleaning

Our approach

Scope. Finishes. Access. Review.

A careful clean is mostly decided before it starts. These four steps are how each project is planned and delivered.

01

Scope

Agreed before anyone arrives.

Every clean starts with a written scope: which rooms and areas are included, which stage applies, and what is excluded. Photos, plans and a site visit where needed keep the scope grounded in the actual space.

Exclusions are stated plainly — bulk hauling, hazardous materials, restoration and exterior work requiring specialist access are separate services.

02

Finishes

The method follows the material.

Honed marble, oiled oak, lacquered millwork and unlacquered brass each react differently to water, pads and products. Sensitive finishes are identified during scoping so tools and products are chosen in advance.

When a finish schedule exists, share it. When it doesn’t, photos and the installer’s care notes are the next best thing.

Access

Planned around the building.

Manhattan buildings run on rules: freight elevator reservations, permitted working hours, loading dock windows and paperwork for the managing agent. These are confirmed before the clean is scheduled.

We also confirm power, water, lighting and who on your team is the site contact on the day.

04

Review

Checked together, not assumed.

Once the agreed work is complete, it is reviewed against the scope — ideally with your project manager or client. Anything outside the scope, or affected by later trade work, is noted as a follow-up item.

If a touch-up is needed after punch-list work, it is scoped from that review.

Next step

Start with the scope.

Share the address, the stage you need and your target date. We’ll review the scope and follow up.
